Presentation for the event on ecology. Extra-curricular event on ecology with a presentation

Vostrikova Svetlana Gennadievna,

teacher of biology and chemistry, secondary school No. 38 of Russian Railways, Michurinsk

Extracurricular activity on ecology:

"THE MOUTH OF NATURE"

(game - quiz)

Target audience: 5-6 grade, 11-12 years old.

Annotation. Developmentcognitive interest in their subject is one of the main tasks facing the teacher. This interest can be aroused by using a huge variety of forms of activity in the classroom and extracurricular activities. Game tasks always arouse the interest of students. Therefore, the extra-curricular event I developed takes the form of a quiz game. 2 teams are formed that perform tasks individually or as a whole team. The whole class is involved, tasks for fans are provided. The quiz consists of competitions: 1 competition - "Guessing" (questions from zoology, botany, nature protection are presented); 2 competition - "Overtaking" (participants solve riddles about plants, animals, natural phenomena); 3rd competition - “Concepts Competition” (team members explain to each other concepts related to ecology, without naming words with the same root); 4th competition - "Explainers" (signs are presented that teams explain using their knowledge from biological disciplines); 5th competition - "Nature and fantasy" (they present projects of useful use of plastic bottles and plastic bags, you can give it as homework in advance); 6th competition - "Charades" (solving charades); 7th competition - "Help nature" (drawing up an appeal to humanity "Help nature"). The event is aimed at developing the skills and abilities to apply knowledge when performing various tasks, analyze, compare, generalize data, and think creatively. During the game, students work both in groups and individually. Equal interaction of all participants is assumed. The event contributes to the formation of universal ways of activity and key competencies among students.

Goals:

Generalization and deepening of biological and ecological knowledge obtained at the previous stages of education.

Development of creative abilities of schoolchildren.

Education of ecological culture of schoolchildren.

Tasks:

Educational: during the game, reveal the knowledge of students and expand the horizons of students in the field of biology, ecology and environmental protection.

Developing: to continue work on the formation of skills to express their opinion, compare, analyze, draw conclusions; skills to work in a group; to develop communicative qualities, to increase the cognitive interest of students in the problems of nature protection.

Educational: to promote the formation of love and respect for nature.

Equipment: cards (at least four) for the competition "Overtaking", cards with

assignments for the "Concepts" contest, cards for the "Charade" contest, diplomas, protocol sheet for the jury.

Event progress.

Hello guys! Today we will touch on a very important topic: Earth! This is the name of our planet - the beautiful Motherland of mankind. Our common home. We love our land, but the worst thing is that while loving, we have not learned a reasonable attitude towards its riches. And today the earth, which has fed us without fail for millions of years and has given us its riches, is giving distress signals. They are addressed to each of us.

Students can also contribute to the protection of nature. But this requires certain environmental knowledge. And in this regard, I offer you a quiz game "Mouth of Nature".

I ask the participants of the competition - 2 teams of 10 people to occupy the gaming tables. Before we start the competition, I want to introduce you to the jury.

5th competition - "Nature and fantasy"

Guys, we all love to relax among nature. But do we always leave the place of our rest in the form it was before our arrival? People who leave garbage behind them act dishonorably. They do not think about the fact that they destroy the beauty of nature, harm it.

What do you do with the rubbish you collect on your walk? With cans, bottles, bags, paper? Many, walking along the street or park, do not hesitate to throw plastic bags, plastic bottles, wrappers from chocolates, chips, although there are a few steps to the trash can. All these thrown things do not decompose for several years, for example, paper will lie for more than 2 years, cans - more than 30 years, plastic bags - more than 200 years. Yes, guys, our nature is patient, it forgives a lot to a person, but it also calls for our help, asks for protection. This will be the task of the next competition.

Each team needs to come up with a device, a device, a model of clothes from plastic bottles and plastic bags, or simply find an interesting use for them. It is necessary to depict what was invented on a piece of paper and explain how these devices and models work.

Competition time is 5 minutes. The highest score is 20 points. The jury evaluates the humor, usefulness and importance of the model.

While the participants complete the task, the spectators can earn extra points for the teams by answering the questions. For each correct answer - 2 points.

Questions for fans

    What is "sulfur rain"?

(When conifers bloom abundantly, the wind often blows pollen into settlements, and if it rains, it will be yellow. People take this phenomenon for "sulphurous rain").

A gas in the atmosphere that protects the Earth from ultraviolet solar radiation. (Ozone)

The fruits of which berry bush are called "northern grapes"?

(Gooseberry fruit)

4. What animals have kindergartens? (Penguins, fur seals)

Why is birch called the "pioneer" among trees?

(Birch is the first to develop open spaces)

An excerpt from the story: Entering the forest, the Woodcutter and the Lion noticed that the trees in the forest are not at all like those that are found on the edge. What is the difference between the crowns of trees growing in the forest and in the clearing? What is it connected with?

( Trees growing in clearings and edges have a spreading crown with branches extending already at the bottom of the trunk. In trees in the forest, the branches begin at a high height from the ground, the crown is not sprawling due to neighboring trees blocking the sunlight).

    What is the greenhouse effect?

(Due to the connection of the atmosphere in the air, the content of carbon dioxide increases, etc., which prevents the transfer of heat from the Earth to Space. This entails an increase in the average temperature of the planet.)

8. Which bird has the longest tongue? (U woodpecker - up to 15 cm.)

What bird bears the name of a famous Russian writer? (Gogol )

What is the favorite delicacy of storks? (frogs)

So, the time for the competition has come to an end. I ask the teams to come out and present their devices and projects one by one.

(Teams present their projects. The jury evaluates)

6 competition - "Charades"

In nature, there are a lot of riddles, puzzles, charades. Now we will solve charades with you. The theme of these charades will be environmental pollution.

Each team chooses a card. Participants must solve the charade. The time for this contest is 2 minutes. The number of points for a correct answer is 10 points. For the speed of execution plus 2 points.

charade. The word is made up of 6 letters. If the sound that the crow makes, replace the initial letter with the letter "b" and add a word meaning - a tree branch. As a result, we get an animal protected on the territory of the Tambov region.

(Bar - bough)

charade. The word consists of 5 letters. The first part is an exclamation in the form of a donut. If

in the word, meaning what was left of the tree after it was cut down, replace the initial letter with the letter “l” - this will be the second part. And together - this is an animal of the Tambov region that needs protection.

(ABOUT - laziness)

Private traders solve the mysteries of nature. And I offer the audience a little game. You need to make the longest word from a certain sequence of letters. This is a phenomenon that can be observed in nature in autumn. ( Leaf fall)

Letter sequence: TSSLDAPI

The time allotted for the teams is over, I will ask you to name the answers.

(The jury announces the result of the b competition and the overall result)

7 competition - "Help Nature"

I would like to start the next competition with an excerpt from a poem:

My young friend! Open your eyes and ears

You hear the groan: Save our souls!

That's how animals talk to us, that's how plants talk to us. This is how nature speaks to us

Now you must turn to all mankind and explain what harm we do to nature and how it suffers. This will be a new competition "Help Nature". You need to make an appeal to humanity within 5 minutes. It should affect a person, induce him to useful actions. At the end of the competition, the jury will evaluate your performances. The highest score is 20 points.

Time has gone. In the meantime, while the participants are busy, the audience is given the opportunity to learn a little interesting.

Valerian officinalis

The healing properties of this plant of the valerian family were known to the ancient Greeks and Romans. In the Middle Ages, it was widely used as a sedative.

It was believed that the name "valerian" was given to the plant in honor of the Roman emperor Valerian, who ruled in the 1st century BC. e. Translated from the Latin verb "valere" means "to be healthy."

In Rus', valerian has also long been recommended as a medicinal plant. But its industrial use began under Peter I. He ordered the cultivation of medicinal plants, including valerian, in “apothecary gardens” specially created for the needs of military hospitals. By order of Peter I, such plantings of medicinal plants were created in many large cities of Russia. In Moscow, for example, there were several "apothecary gardens": near the Kremlin, in the German settlement, as evidenced by the name Aptekarsky Lane (located near the Baumanskaya metro station) that has survived to this day.

For medicinal purposes, the rhizome of valerian is used, which has a characteristic smell.

Obviously, some of the properties of this plant contributed to the emergence of popular names: cat grass, cat root, incense, earthen incense.

The specific valerian smell is provided by the presence of essential oils in the rhizome of this plant (about 20%). In addition, it contains alkaloids, organic acids, sugar, starch, tannins and other substances.

Decoctions and infusions of valerian are still used in folk medicine for gastrointestinal, heart diseases, neuroses and insomnia. And also as an excellent sedative.

Plants are touchy

In warm countries, a strange plant grows, the fruits of which resemble a beautiful green cucumber. This is a crazy cucumber. It is worth touching him, as at the same moment - it shoots a sticky liquid at you. And in it-mo the seeds float! No matter how you cleanse yourself of this mucus, two or three drops of it will still remain on your sleeve or on your dress. And then the slime will dry up, and the seed will fall to the ground, and next year a new angry cucumber will grow in this place.

And we, in central Russia, also have plants that perform similar tricks and thus spread over the earth. For example, touchy Try to touch its pod, you will see how it shoots sticky seeds at you.

Trees on the roofs

The wind... It not only drives swarms of clouds and dust, it carries light seeds of grasses and trees. It was lucky if the seed fell on the ground, where it can germinate and give life to a new plant.

But it also happens that the omnipresent wind brings the grain to the roof or balcony. Then the seed also germinates. He has a bad time, but he finds crumbs of soil in the crevices of the walls. This is how birches and aspens grow on the roofs and balconies of houses. Of course, they are much smaller than ordinary trees. Life in them is barely glimmering, and they die early, unable to withstand an unequal fight with stone or concrete.

Sometimes the seeds are under the asphalt. And often tender green sprouts pierce it. People are terribly dissatisfied with this: “It’s not right, tree roots destroy walls, spoil smooth asphalt surfaces.” But the plants are not to blame for the fact that the insidious wind threw them in the wrong place.

Maybe an unfortunate tree will grow on your balcony. Try to carefully transplant it into the ground.

(The jury evaluates this competition.)

And now let's sum up the general result of our quiz.

(The jury announces the winners.)

The team with the most points will be awarded with a certificate and a title - "The best experts nature ». The second team - diploma "For the contribution V knowledge nature."

Guys, today you are still schoolchildren, and in a few years you will be workers, directors and heads of enterprises, factories, plants, engineers, scientists .... And I ask you to always remember that nature is a human habitat, and so that a universal human catastrophe does not happen, you must carefully and reasonably treat nature.

I plucked a flower, and it withered.

I caught a moth and it died in my palm.

And then I realized that touch the beauty

Can only be done with the heart.

Hello forest!
Dense forest!
Full of fairy tales and wonders!
What are you making noise about?
Dark, stormy night?
What are you whispering at dawn
All in dew, as in silver.

Who is hiding in your wilderness?
What kind of animal, what kind of bird?
Open everything, do not hide
You see, we are ours!

The forest is not only for our fun,
He is the wealth of the country.
All the trees in it, berries, herbs
For our benefit, friends, raised.

In the forest where there is so much botany
Friends, collect from the clearing
Cigarette butts, leaky kettles
Empty cans.

I want to bend over the flowers
Not to tear or cut.
And to see their kind faces
And show them a good face.

Animal burrows, bird nests
We will never break!
Let the chicks and small animals
It's good to live next to us.

People! Take a look around.
How truly beautiful nature is.
She needs your care
So that her beauty does not go out!

adventures and unexpected encounters. And we will take a good, cheerful song with us. (slide number 29)

(Children sing the song "Together it's fun to walk" music by V. Shainsky, lyrics by M. Matusovsky)

Reader. We are walking along the forest path

We look around -

Smells like herbs and pine

Squirrels roam the trunks.

Hello forest, dense forest,

Full of fairy tales and wonders! (next №30) ( next №31)

1st presenter makes riddles.

- The fairytale forest has prepared riddles for you. Let's guess them:

What tree is the symbol of Russia? (birch).

What is the name of a bird's nose? (beak).

What herb even the blind know? (nettle).

    Who runs backwards? (hare).

Who has ears on their feet? (at the grasshopper).

What does a moose lose every winter? (horns).

Who can drink with their feet? (frog).

The more rings, the older the tenant (tree).

Small, light, but you can’t catch it by the tail (lizard).

    Who sleeps upside down? (bat).

Reader. Nature has vibrant colors

May she live without fear

Let animals and birds live

Let no one be afraid of a man!

Noise is heard, a Hooligan with a tape recorder runs into the hall.

Hooligan. Bom-bom-bom! The massacre begins.

We leave for nature

I like my fighting character

My temperament is cheerful, fiery.

And I came here to disperse boredom,

I came to have fun, to play.

2nd leader. Yes, it is clear that you are poorly brought up if you do not know how to behave in the forest!

Hooligan. Hey, you little goats, but why do you yourself go to the forest?

Reader. Breathe fresh air, admire nature, improve health, improve mood.

Hooligan. Now I’ll catch a couple more birds and put them in a cage. Here's to a fun mood! I also like to shoot from a slingshot.

Yesterday I shot funny birds with a slingshot.

I stealthily aimed at goldfinches, starlings, tits.

And the birds were sad, did not chirp,

And they all decided not to come here!

It's great, right?

Reader. Trees, grass, flower and bird

They don't always know how to defend themselves.

If they are destroyed

We will be alone on the planet!

1st leader. You can't hurt birds. They do benefit people.

Hooligan. Think! Well, don't stop me from having fun! I worked so hard today that I was even tired.

1st leader. And what did you do that was so helpful?

Hooligan. - I broke the birch.

Ants dispersed, the anthill ruined

Rare flowers from the Red Book narwhal a whole armful

He muddied the waters, dispersed the fish

Scared people in the swamp

Frog chased with a stick

He threw all kinds of garbage into the river

(turns on the tape recorder and starts dancing)

Baba Yaga appears.

Baba Yaga. E-e-e, you see, the radio has been found! You can't turn the tape recorder so loud! Now you're not jumping like that with me, you ill-mannered prodigy. I'll show you my hocus-pocus-paradocus. I will bewitch the damned. Although we live in the forest, we know the rules of decency, we have our own culture!

Fir-trees-sticks, dense forest,

Turn into a forest stump!

(Hooligan freezes in place)

Hooligan. I do not want and I will not! Let me go, you uncouth grandmother! I will complain to my ancestors, they will give you a light!

Baba Yaga. They won't, darling! And you will stand as a stump until you know that everything in the forest must be protected and guarded.

Hooligan. (cries) A-a-a! Help!

1st leader. You offended nature very much, and Baba Yaga is a forest dweller, so she was offended by you.

Baba Yaga. How many people like him cause troubles to the Earth. Trees break. Anthills are devastating... If everyone destroys, tears, breaks, then there will be no life on Earth. And we won't be. And you won't be.

Hooligan. (crying) I'm gone! A-a-a! What am I to do now?

Baba Yaga. Do good deeds. The earth must be protected and loved. You need to start a schedule of good deeds. Do you agree with me? (children's answers)

2nd leader. If you only want

You help nature

Betterrules teach,

To not forget them!

Hooligan. What are the rules?

Children take turns telling the rules:

1. Children must remember

And understand:

Birds' nests

Can't be destroyed! (sl. No. 32)

2. Ants are forest orderlies;

That's what people called them for a reason.

Only you, my friend, do not disturb them!

Don't destroy the ants!

These nurses are so necessary

For the forests of your native country!(sl. No. 33)

3. For hedgehogs and squirrels

The forest is home.

They live there bravely

Both summer and winter:

So it's not worth it

Take them to town...

Believe: they are in captivity

They will not eat and sleep ... (sl. No. 34)

4. Moths fly in the forest

Goats and beetles crawl...

Mother nature gave them life.

They all have their own business.

You will see them on the way -

Do not offend, but go away!

Forest without insects, my friend,

And lonely and empty ... (sl. No. 35)

5. Flowers adorn meadows and forests

But this is not only nature's beauty

In them the bees find a healing gift,

And butterflies drink sweet nectar from them.

No need, friends, it's pointless to tear them,

No need to make bouquets of them ...

Bouquets will wither... Flowers will die...

And there will be no more such beauty! (sl. No. 36)

6.

Butterfly colored

Flying over you...

dragonfly frolicking,

Dancing, having fun...

Everyone is so happy to fly!

You don't have to catch them...

Let them fly

The earth is decorated ... (sl. No. 37)

7. How many sounds here and there!

The forest does not need noise and din:

No noise, noisy, shouting

And turn the music up loud! (Withl. No. 38)

8. It is dangerous to have fun with fire without adults!

The fun can end badly!

Sometimes it gets very dry in the forest,

The bonfire will turn into a serious disaster!

Imagine that the flame will easily flare up,

It will begin to blaze, scatter, sparkle -

It is impossible to extinguish it then ...

Forest fires are a big problem! (sl. 39)

9. You're on a hike guys...

Rest, of course, you need:

Play and frolic

And eat and drink...

But there are banks around

Cellophane, pieces of iron, bottles ...

You can't leave them here!

Let's not be lazy, friends:

Garbage here in the forest, someone else's,

Let's take it with us!(sl. No. 40)

10. You can't throw glass in the forest,

Bottles must not be broken;

Sharp fragments are dangerous -

You will cut yourself terribly about them!

And if you suddenly fall on them -

You can find yourself in the hospital!

And the inhabitants of the forest

Glasses are also not needed ... (sl. No. 41)

11.

There are trees - giants

Hooligans do not spare them

And cut with sharp knives

The words on the tree - "for memory!"

But it's so cruel!

You can't hurt trees.

Let them grow in the forest

They bring goodness and beauty ... (sl. No. 42)

12 . Since you are going to pick mushrooms -

Take a sharp knife with you;

Carefully cut off the mushroom for them -

Leave the mushroom in the ground.

And if you met strawberries,

Cowberry or blueberry bush -

Gently pick the berries

And leave the bush, take care. (sl. No. 43 - 44)

Reader. Let's be friends with each other

Like a bird with the sky, like a field with a plow.

Like the wind with the sea, grass with the rain,

How friendly the sun is with all of us!

Hooligan. I won't forget smart rules

I will respect nature.

Just disenchant me!

Baba Yaga. If you tell me what benefits the forests bring to people, then ... I'll look again. I might break up.

Hooligan. Don't know. (crying)

1st leader. Guys, let's help the Hooligan answer Baba Yaga's question.

The children take turns talking. (slide show of these animals)

(sl. 45)Woodpecker - a forest attendant. It has a notched tongue and is sticky. When he makes a hole with his beak, he sticks out his tongue, and the insect sticks to it.

(sl. 46)Owl - destroys about 1000 rodents per year. If we take into account that each mouse eats 1 kg of grain per year, then one owl saves a ton of bread per year.

(sl. 47)Cuckoo - it eats 100 caterpillars in an hour, if a large number of insect pests appear in the forest, it deals with them within a few days.

(sl. 48)The bats – clean the area from malarial mosquitoes. During an hour of night hunting, a bat can catch and eat 170 mosquitoes.

(sl. 49)Martin - during the summer it catches up to a million mosquitoes, midges, aphids.

(sl. №50)Toad - destroys not only harmful insects, but also slugs, and these are the most dangerous enemies of gardens and orchards.

Baba Yaga. Praises the children and disenchants the Hooligan.

Hooligan. My dear, beloved, closest and most attentive friends! I am eternally grateful to you for the help you have given me. I promise never to play pranks, not to be rude and not to offend others. I promise to protect trees, flowers, animals, birds - in short, all nature.(sl. №51)

Baba Yaga. Well, you can't really recognize this Hooligan! See how the spell worked! Why do you think I care so much about the forest?(sl. No. 52)

Because the forest is my home

Forest - wealth and beauty,

Take care of your forests!

On one big planet

We live together with you.

We will, adults and children,

Treasure friendship with the forest!

Hall game:

Leading : And at the end of our holiday I offer you a game. In front of you is a tree. It doesn't have a single leaf. Terrible picture. I would not want us to have such a forest. But we can change everything. Think and tell me what good deeds can be done to make the forest and nature come to life? (Each correct answer is attached to the tree with a green leaf.)

All children sing the song "Solar Circle"

May there always be rivers
May there always be fish
May there always be a sea
And in the desert camel!

May there always be groves
May there always be birds
May there always be animals
And the house has flowers!

May there always be people
May there always be children
May it always be in a clear sky
The sun will shine!

Event progress

1. Introductory speech of the teacher
Teacher:
-Hello guys! Today we have gathered with you to talk about the weather. We often hear such words - “weather”, “forecasters”, “hydrometeorological center”, but often do not understand what is being said. Today, I and the students of the Ecotourism: Pathfinders interest group will tell you about the weather and how it is easy to predict its changes using only your observational abilities.
Teacher:
- Now let's try to guess riddles.
(Guesses are written on the board)

Flying across the sky
Wings spread out
The sun has dimmed. (Cloud)
Who hits the roof all night
Yes, it knocks
And mumbles and sings
Lulling? (Rain)
He's been sweeping since morning
Hitting the bedroom windows.
Vanya goes for a walk -
He puts on boots. (Snow)
He went down early in the morning
White-white and thick.
The air was smeared with sour cream.
Guess who he is. (Fog)
It's scary to go out on the porch -
Today he is just fierce.
Ice bound our river,
And a large adjacent pond.
Now let me ask you a question -
Who pinches our noses in winter? (Freezing)
The summer guest set everything on fire,
Asphalt became like a stove.
"Oh, if only it would rain!" -
Asks our river.
"I'm already tired of drying,
It has become smaller because of the guest!" (Heat)
It pours from the roof, like from a bucket,
But it's not rain.
Go away, winter, it's time!
Looking forward to spring and summer!
The baby will answer me -
What is pouring from the roofs in March? (drops)
Came with the winter wind
And the snowflakes spun.
Spinning like a carousel
White person.
And the car is barely
It can be seen from the snowdrift. (Snowstorm, blizzard, blizzard)
Oh, it's very slippery today!
Poor Kolya slipped!
And floundered on the ice
The girls are in sight.
So that no one falls off their feet,
Wipers throw sand. (Ice)
She throws hail with grits,
And it rumbles and it rumbles
Sheaves of lightning releases,
Like dynamite in the sky (Storm)
He's in the puddles, look
Blows bubbles.
Wants me and you
Don't forget about umbrellas. (Rain)
He got stronger today
Started yesterday.
Very white, Christmas
The appearance of the yard. (Snowfall)
The garden is powdered in July
White crumble peas.
All peas are made of ice.
Who threw them here? (grad)
He didn't blow at all yesterday.
The wing even rested.
And now he's just a flurry!
No matter how the wing breaks! (Wind)
He is at any time of the year
Can predict the weather.
To take an umbrella or not to take?
Do I need to wear a hat?
All year round, winter and summer,
Listen to his advice! (Meteorologist, forecaster)
This is an important indicator
The thermometer is her friend.
If it's hot, it's high
And in the cold it is low. (Temperature)
You hang it outside -
And you will know, heat or cold.
A thin column of alcohol
It walks like it's alive. (Thermometer)
Measures his device,
The relative of the thermometer.
Serving people for a long time
Barometer needle.
If it is low
The rain is knocking on the window.
If it goes up
Nobody expects rain. (Atmosphere pressure)
What word can combine all the words written on the board?
Guys answers.
Teacher:
- Weather is a combination of air temperature, cloudiness, precipitation, wind.
Each of us periodically faces the problem of the need for an accurate weather forecast. Guys, tell us how we will know what the weather will be like?
Guys answers.
Teacher:

We usually listen to the weather forecast. Weather forecasting is of interest to all people. And in our time, when the majority of the population lives in cities, people's dependence on the weather is only increasing. Even a slight change in the weather affects the well-being of many people.
The first predictors of weather changes were healers, shamans, sorcerers and priests - talented and observant people.
It is believed that the philosopher Aristotle was the founder of scientific forecasting. The invention of the barometer in the 17th century gave a new impetus to more accurate scientific justifications for future weather.
Professional "predictors" of the weather are specialists, researchers of atmospheric phenomena, graduates of universities with a specialization in Meteorology. The professionals involved in forecasting the weather are called meteorologists and weather forecasters.

What is the difference between a meteorologist and a weather forecaster? The fact is that there are many specializations within the meteorological specialty: synoptic, aerological, marine meteorology, aviation, satellite, meteorological instrumentation, etc. In fact, a weather forecaster is a meteorologist who analyzes the received data and makes weather forecasts.
By observing animals and plants, you can also make a fairly reliable weather forecast.
In ancient times, people learned about weather changes by certain behavior of plants and animals, the sun, stars, clouds, wind direction, etc.
Guys, tell me, what are the names of scientists involved in the study of animals and plants?
Guys answers.
Teacher.
Right. Animals are studied by zoologists, and plants by botanists.

Did you know that about 400 plants and 600 animals predict the weather? Plants and animals in the process of development have developed many adaptations, including those that can serve as signals about the upcoming change in the weather. Many people today use observations to find out what the weather will be like.
For example:
Before the rain closes the flowers of the white water lily.
Grasshoppers chirp strongly - the weather is fine in the next day.
2. Conference "Live Barometers"
Teacher.
Today we will get acquainted with some plants and animals and find out how you can predict the weather from them.
Students from the Ecotourism: Pathfinders Association of Interests will act as scientists.
Gubchik Olga - Forecaster
Sumar Angelina – Meteorologist
Gritskevich Daria - Zoologist
Polina Kleschukevich - Botanist
Teacher.
The word is given to the forecaster.
2.1 Forecaster speech
Hello! I have been observing animals for a very long time, especially their reactions to weather changes. And today I will share with you my observations.
Look, it's a beehive.
An illustration of a beehive is on display.

Industrious bees live in it. Bees are true predictors of the weather. In the morning, before the rain, they do not fly out of the hives, they buzz strongly, even if the sun is shining. And if they leave early for prey and return early in the evening, then it will be a good day.
An illustration of a hive butterfly is on display.

Do you recognize this insect? This is a butterfly urticaria. She predicts rain very accurately. In the afternoon before the rain, the butterfly begins to prepare for the night - it is attached to the ceiling of the barn, hanging its wings.
Have you ever watched ants?
Student responses
Anthill illustration on display

Synoptic:
-Ants before a rain or a thunderstorm hide and close the entrances to the anthill: after all, if water gets into it, the ants will die.
Guys, who weaves thin lace in the forest?
Students response:
-Spiders.
An image of spiders and cobwebs is shown.

Synoptic:
-It turns out that spiders are also weather forecasters, especially the cross and the home spider. If spiders appear early in the morning, then bad weather is approaching: they are afraid of dampness, and there is no dew before bad weather. On a hot afternoon, fearing the heat, spiders prefer to "sit out at home." If the spider appeared in the heat, it means that it stocks up on food, therefore, you can safely predict a thunderstorm. Observing the behavior of the spider, there were such folk signs:
The spider strenuously weaves webs - to dry weather.
The spider huddled in a corner - towards the wind.
Synoptic:
- Fishermen predict the weather by watching the bite of the fish. It turns out that in the drought before the rain, the fish in the ponds stop pecking.
Do you know who it is?
Demonstrates leeches illustration

Guys answers.
Synoptic:
- Leeches have long been used in medicine, alleviating the suffering of people, helping to reduce pressure. Leeches can also predict the weather. They are placed in a glass jar filled with water, with sand at the bottom. In clear weather, leeches lie quietly at the bottom, before rain they stay against the walls of the jar, slightly sticking out of the water, and the restless and fast swimming of leeches portends a strong wind. Leeches are especially anxious before a thunderstorm.
Teacher:
-And now a zoologist, a person who studies animals, will share his observations.
3.2. Zoologist's speech
Zoologist:
-Our pets - cats and dogs - are also excellent weather forecasters. Have you ever watched your house cat?
Guys answers.
Teacher:
-The cat warns its owners about the bitter cold: it seems to start to freeze in advance - it will climb somewhere higher, curl up, cover its muzzle with its paw, and hug itself with its tail.

Folk signs:
The cat is fast asleep - to warmth and heat.
During sleep, he closes his muzzle with his paw - to the cold.
It curls up in a ball - to frost, and the stronger the frost, the more it curls up.
Licks a paw, washes - to warming.
He sharpens his claws on the leg of the table - the weather will change.
It rushes back and forth, like a madman, and does not find a place for itself - to thunder and lightning.
Dogs can also predict the weather.

Hunters, foresters, villagers and nature lovers in general noticed that:
If on a winter night the stars are wrapped in fog, and the dog somersaults in the snow, there will be a blizzard. And often quite long.
The dog curls up and lies in a ball - to the cold.
It stretches out on the ground and lies or sleeps, spreading its paws, belly up - to warmth.
In summer, the dog sways on the ground, sleeps a lot and eats little - to rain.
If a dog climbs on an easy chair or sofa in winter, hides its nose between its paws, curls up and takes a nap - expect a cold snap soon.
There are also cases when pets saved their owners from natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, floods.
A case from Russia - a mongrel saved several families who fed her from an earthquake at once. She howled so heart-rendingly under the doors of houses that people were forced to leave, and at that time the walls collapsed.
1944 Italy. The last eruption of Vesuvius happened 80 years ago, and no one is afraid of an extinct volcano. Two old men slept peacefully in their house, and only their cat Toto could not calm down. He didn't eat and didn't want to stay in the house. At night, he began to scratch the owner's face. The wife persuaded her husband to leave the house, perceiving the behavior of the cat as a sign of fate. In the end, he agreed. The old men loaded the essentials onto the cart, took the cat and went to the wife's sister, who lived in a place inaccessible to lava. An hour later, Vesuvius exploded, their house was demolished by a lava flow.
Teacher:
-The word is given to a botanist.
Botanist performance
Botanist:
-And I have been watching plants for a long time and I can say with confidence that they can also predict the weather.
Guess the riddle: what plant are we talking about?
Burned in the dewy grass
golden flashlight,
Then faded, faded
And turned into fluff.
He is wearing a downy scarf,
Always ready to fly. (Dandelion)

Guys answers.
Botanist:
Now listen to the story
Tale of A. Lopatin "Responsive Dandelion".
The sun woke up in the morning, looked at the meadow and sparkled: “Hello, flowers!” The flowers raised their heads towards the light, and the dandelion bud called out loudly in response:
- Hello, beautiful sun!
- Thank you for the kind words, - the sun answered and threw a sheaf of golden rays to the bud.
A sheaf of dandelion turned into a small sun.
Then an old woman came to the meadow and picked a whole basket of dandelion leaves.
- Poor you, all your leaves were torn off, - the flowers took pity on him.
- I'm glad to help my grandmother, - dandelion laughed. - She will soak my leaves in salt water to remove the bitterness from them, and she will make a healing salad.
“How will you live without leaves?” asked the flowers.
“In my thick and long root, there are so many nutritional forces hidden that new leaves will grow very quickly,” the dandelion answered calmly.
A girl ran to the meadow, sat down in the grass next to a dandelion and began to cry.
- Don't cry, please, - asked the dandelion. Your tears are like rain. I am friends with the sun, but from the rain I immediately close my heads.
“The boys called me a freckle because of my freckles,” the girl sobbed.
“They are stupid, they don’t understand that freckles are gifts from the sun,” the dandelion laughed. “Pick my flowers and weave them into a golden wreath.”
The girl calmed down, wove a wreath of golden dandelions. The boys, as they saw her with a golden crown on her head, opened their mouths in surprise and forgot about all the teasing.
“Don’t you feel sorry for your golden heads?” the flowers were surprised.
"Don't worry, others will grow up," said the dandelion.
Soon the dandelion grew new flowers, and every day he treated the bees with his delicious pollen. By mid-summer, dandelion heads have turned into white fluffy balls. You see, you have spent all your golden color! the flowers said to the dandelion.
Dandelion did not answer, because at that moment he was examining a kitten in the grass. The kid ran after the butterfly and got lost. The dandelion took pity on the kitten and asked:
- Wind, blow on my fluffs so that they fly in the direction where the kitten lives.
A breeze blew, fluffs flew. The kitten rushed after them and soon saw his house. “This dandelion is frivolous: it has lost all its heads,” the flowers noticed.
“He is not frivolous, but sympathetic,” explained a cloud floating by. - And he did not lose his head, but scattered the seeds so that there would be more good golden color on the earth.
Botanist:
-Guys, how do dandelions react to rain?
Students response:
Botanist:
- The mallow droops before the rain, the violet stalk bends, the clover bends down and lowers its leaves. Acacia and honeysuckle 15-20 hours before rain intensively secrete nectar.

And there are plants that “cry” before the rain - they release excess moisture. These plants include maple, which predicts severe bad weather in three to four days. "Shed tears" in good weather oats, wheat.

Teacher:
- A word to the meteorologist.
Meteorologist's speech
Meteorologist:
-What plant are we talking about?
A slide is shown depicting various flowers, among which students must choose a plant that matches the description

You can meet him in wastelands and meadows, along river banks, among bushes, near hedges. The plant is pubescent with stiff hairs, its stem is hard, like a bush, the flowers are like a flock of blue moths, which sat down to rest in a green bush.
Student responses
Meteorologist:
This is chicory. Its flowers open early in the morning, and in the afternoon the petals close and completely close by 15 o'clock. Chicory is a medicinal plant, and the powder from its rhizomes is added to coffee drinks.
It is impossible not to admire the beauty of the white water lily. In the people it is mistakenly called a lily. Everything is beautiful in it - round, like saucers, leaves and snow-white flowers. This plant has become rare and is listed in the Red Book, so it cannot be torn. Without water, it quickly withers.

The white water lily flower is a kind of weather station. In the spring, a white water lily spreads a green leaf on the surface of the water - the frosts have come to an end. The flowers open at about 7-8 o'clock and close at 17-18 o'clock - by clear weather.
It happens that the lily is late with access to the surface. The beginning of the ninth, and she barely rises above the water. So it will rain in the afternoon. And if you haven’t risen from the water at all, it’s better to return home: there will be a prolonged downpour or a cold snap will come.
Flowers gather their white petals together, half-closed or completely closed in the middle of the day - rain is near. The flowers close, go under water and are not visible on the surface of the reservoir - unfortunately. Flowers do not appear from the water - to bad weather with prolonged rains.
From the leaves of this plant, you can make a long-term forecast: if they densely covered the surface of the water in spring, there will be no more frosts.
3. The game "Animals and plants - living barometers"
Teacher:
-Guys, and now I propose to get acquainted with other living barometers. I will give you riddles, and you raise your hands and say the answer.

1. A house grew up in a field,
The house is full of grain
The walls are gilded
The shutters are boarded up.
The house is shaking
On the trunk of gold.
(Ear)
In cloudy weather, spikelets sag.
2. There is an oak, full of cereals,
Piglet covered.
(Poppy)
Poppy flowers close up before the rain
3. Although I'm not a hammer -
I knock on wood:
It has every corner
I want to explore.
I walk in a red hat
And a great acrobat.
(Woodpecker)
If a woodpecker chooses a wooden fence, the summer will be rich in worms.
4. Little boy
In a gray coat
Sneaking around the yards
Collects crumbs.
(Sparrow)
If you hear the hubbub of a flock of sparrows, the chirping of sparrows in the trees, then this is a sure sign of long-term good weather.
5. Flies - howls,
He sits down and digs the ground.
(Bug)
In pre-stormy weather, you will not see beetles. They hide, waiting for bad weather in secluded corners.
6. Not a beast, not a bird -
Nose like a needle.
Flies - squeaks,
Sits down - is silent.
Who will kill him
He will shed his blood.
(Mosquito)
If mosquitoes strongly bother a person or swarm over pets, then the probability of rain is quite high.
7. Front awl,
behind the fork,
Towel underneath.
(Martin)
Swallows fly low before the rain.
8. What they dug from the ground,
Roasted, cooked?
What we baked in the ashes
Did they praise?
(Potato)
Before the onset of inclement weather, the pedicels of the potato bend over and the flowers droop.
9. In rich clothes,
And he's blind
Lives without a window
He does not see the sun.
(Mole)
The mole makes a high pile or exit from the ground - to rain.
10. This bird is familiar to everyone -
It is important to walk near the house
Kar-Kar-Kar will suddenly scream,
And quietly fly away.
A very cunning person
And her name is (Crow)
Crows play in the air towards clear weather.

5. The final word of the teacher.
Teacher:
-Guys, today you learned a lot about live barometers. Of course, we do not urge you to start a spider, a chicken or a cow as a home weather forecaster, but we suggest that you be closer to nature and learn to recognize its clues. So going to school in the morning, pay attention to the behavior of your cat or dog, and running down the street, take a look at the birds and breathe in the scent of flowers.
And now the game. I will pronounce the phrase, if you agree with me, you must say in chorus “We do not argue!”, And if you do not agree, “We argue - we argue!”
It rains in autumn. (We don't argue!)
Winter is ahead of us. (We don't argue!)
White lily of the valley blooms. (We argue - we argue!)
The apples are ripe in the orchard. (We argue - we argue!)
The nightingales sang in the grove. (We argue - we argue!)
The days are getting longer. (We argue - we argue!)
It will be colder soon. (We don't argue!)
The puddles began to freeze. (We don't argue!)
The birds began to fly away. (We don't argue!)
Without sweets it is very difficult for us. (We don't argue!)
Fall is coming, by the way. (We argue - we argue!)
I will deceive you now. (We argue - we argue!)
Teacher:
See you soon!

IIntroductory part .

Teacher (Slide 1) Look around - what a wonderful surprisethe body world surrounds us! Blue sky, gentle sunvalley meadows, green forests, majestic mountains, azuredy, the unique world of plants and animals. Everything is created bysmart and convenient for the life of all living beings. Nature is generous and disinterested, it gives a person everything for life - food, water, clothes, fuel, surrounds with beauty. But is everything so good in this world? Let's ask Nature itself about this.

II Theatrical performance.

The exit of Nature is accompanied by the music of the "Waltz of the Flowers" from the ballet "The Nutcracker" by P. I. Tchaikovsky.

Nature (Slide 2).Man makes me sad, he has become a selfish, wasteful consumer, and my wealth is not eternal. Youforests are cut down, swamps are drained, water bodies and atmosphere. Many plant and animal species are on the verge of extinction. Mountains of industrial waste are destroying the Earth. And not everything is all right with a person either: he is overcome by diseases, drug addiction and crime flourish, the howl does not stop. We, humanity is threatened by famine. Man forgot about responsibilityfor life on earth. What will he leave for posterity? An empty, lifeless planet? My subjects came with me, they want to express their attitude to human activity.

air nymph .(Slide3) Our planet is surrounded by the largest of the oceans, and every hour, every minute, without noticing it, we "bath" in it. It's about blue air.nom ocean. Air is breathed by animals, birds, plants, andlovek - all life on Earth cannot do without it! But every year it gets dirtier and dirtier. Disturbing news comes from many cities: “There is not enough fresh air, there is nothing to breathe!”. Hordes of cars filled the streetstsy, avenues, squares and brought down on all living things their exhaustnye gases. And endless factories and small factories smoke, factorieski and factories. All living things suffocate from the terrible smoke, caustic burning, poisonous soot.

Gold fish( slide 4) . I don't want to live in the sea anymore, hochu in an aquarium with clean water! Oh! The oceans are disappearing. Ships on waterways are like cars on highways, and with everylong, even from the smallest boat, garbage is thrown into the waves. So the blue expanses of the sea turn into mudlandfill. And when the sea becomes dirty from oil poisonous to all living things - it’s really bad! Unfortunately, this also happens. The tanker suffered an accident on the way - all the oil is poured into the sea. Here's the trouble so trouble! This poison kills fish, delphius, get sick, and sometimes even die gulls, other marine animalsnye. For many miles around the water is covered with a greasy film, which, like a lid, does not allow oxygen to penetrate into the depths of the sea. This suffocates algae, the smallest crustaceans. This means that unpoisoned fish will die, already from hunger.

Rechenka (Slide5) . Oh, guys, I've become like this now, but before I was transparent. Here is my story. A river flowed across the plain with pure, pure water - I was a transparent river. BuildIs there a toy factory on its shore. He needs a lot to work.dy - and laid two pipes from the plant to the river. On one - water is poured into the plant, on the other it is poured back. Pure water is poured in, transparent, dirty, waste is poured out. Notit is surprising that I have become here, as if from shame for the outrages being committed, alley poppy! Downstream built another one forwater - for the production of rubber boots. And he is clean, transparenthe drinks fresh water, throwing dirty water back through the pipe. And I became here, as if from annoyance, blacker than black rubber boots descending from the factory conveyor. Even further grew on the beregu the third factory is calico, which is why the river here has become gray-brown-crimson - more colorful than the most colorful calico. So: I was clean, transparent, but became dirty. It was high-water, but it became low-water.

Fairy of the forest. (Slide 6) People cannot do without a forest. Forest setreleases oxygen into the atmosphere, it, like a vacuum cleaner, releases airdust spirit. The forest is also rivers filled with clean water:nor trees hold the soil together, prevent its erosion. The forest softens the climate, protects from cold winds in winter and from dryhoveev in the summer, he gives food, medicines for diseases. Forest floorlife is a home for thousands of animals and plants. Over the past 20 years, the planet has lost almost 200 million hectares of forest. Every year the forest cover is reduced by an area equal to the territory of Austria. Huge consumption of wood, mountains of musora... But trees grow slowly, for many decades.

Ecologist .(Slide7) Let me stand up for the man. He realized theclean air, water, forests and fields of our beautiful planet Earth. People begin to understand that the Earth is ourhome and must be preserved for future generations. To solve environmental problems, a person must change the world.bya, your thinking, consciousness. It is important to always remember that the Earth is one, and we will not have another planet.

Teacher. In our school, the guys understand all the responsibilitythe vein that a person bears for the state of nature, andare trying to solve some environmental problems.

Two girls perform ditties

Ditties on an environmental theme"

Before, people say

We had a beautiful garden.

And now in place

Tons of garbage around.

I'll go out into the street

I see the sky is darkening

Here the factories began to smoke,

I'd rather stay in an apartment.

In our park by the river

The nightingales used to sing

And now one thing to hear:

"Garbage must be removed!"

Here is a bag under the bush,

He's so pretty.

Just dropped that bag

Obviously a bad person.

In the clearing in the forest

The gathering of tourists was in the spring.

A whole month from that clearing

We remove jars.

Many, many years ago

We had a beautiful garden

And today in that garden

I'll find a lot of trash.

I'll go out for a walk in the morning

Yes, play with friends.

But there is no time to walk in the garden:

Rubbish must be removed.

If only we all knew

How to protect nature

Life would be better immediately

Breathe fresh air.

If there were no trees

There would be no stick.

If they didn't throw trash

There would be no landfill.

There is a birch under the mountain,

It's sad to swing like that.

Branches broke off her -

And now she is sad.

We went fishing in the summer

Didn't see any fish there.

They threw garbage into the river

They offended the river.

Teacher. (Slide 9) People have become strong, like gods,

And the fate of the Earth is in their hands.

But old burns darken

On the sides of the globe

We have long mastered the planet,

We are moving forward into the new century.

There are no white spots on the Earth -

Will you erase the black ones, man?
