How to enter a military sports cadet. Cadet education: training and education in the best traditions of the Russian army

If you want your child to grow up to be a strong and comprehensively developed personality, with a good upbringing and a tempered character, without bad habits, take a closer look at cadet schools. The purpose of cadet education is to educate a patriotic, disciplined person.

Education in cadet corps differs significantly from regular general education. In addition to compulsory subjects, children study military history, the basics of military affairs, and undergo intensive physical training. The school day here lasts longer, and the teachers do not make any concessions to the children. Another significant difference is the strictest discipline. Pupils wear a special uniform, often walk in formation, and salute their senior ranks. During the holidays, children participate in competitions, cultural and excursion events.

Types of cadet schools

Cadet corps can be supervised by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the FSB and organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In such institutions there is military discipline: permanent residence, dismissals strictly on weekends and holidays. The daily routine is carefully planned; the pupils practically have no free time. It’s difficult to enter here, and it’s not easy to study! Therefore, most often here you can meet children who in the future plan to enter the internal affairs bodies or military service.

There are also cadet schools established by the Moscow Department of Education. Only children with Moscow registration can enroll in them. Many of these schools also operate as boarding schools, but getting fired is much easier here.

Admission conditions

The cadet corps accepts children who are fit for health reasons (the list of contraindications is set out in Appendix 3 to Order No. 473 of October 16, 2002 of the Moscow Health Committee) and who want to study. For admission, you must submit an application to the Admissions Committee within the established time frame and attach a package of necessary documents (indicated on the website of the educational institution), undergo diagnostics at the Moscow Center for Education in the following subjects: Russian language, mathematics, English, and a medical examination. In addition, candidates for admission undergo testing for their level of physical fitness and an interview with a psychologist. Based on the results of the events, the Admissions Committee, taking into account the state of health, motivation, additional achievements (awards received for participation in creative and sports events), level of physical fitness and academic performance, makes a decision. In this case, candidates referred for targeted recruitment have priority for admission. Also, upon admission, orphans and children of military personnel enjoy benefits.

There are age restrictions when enrolling in cadet school. Children are not taken here, with rare exceptions. It’s too late to think about entering high school, since the training program is designed for a certain period, at least 3 years. The ideal time to enroll is at the end of primary school.

Absolutely every parent dreams that his son will grow up to be a real man, receive a decent education, have a patriotic upbringing, and become a responsible, reliable, purposeful person. The best teachers and Russian military personnel working in the Cadet Corps help parents achieve this. Today we’ll talk about how to receive the proud title of Cadet.

How to enter a cadet school

Throughout the country, 62 cadet corps are actively working and recruiting new cadets every year. As you can see, very few educational institutions of this profile are allocated for all Russian boys and girls. It is for this reason that the future cadet will have to compete for his place after going through a tough selection process. You need to prepare responsibly for a difficult fight and start preparing six months, or even a year in advance, because, as a rule, 10 or even 15 people can apply for one place.

The state has provided benefits for certain categories of families whose children are enrolled without competition and entrance exams:

  • Child of a soldier.
  • Orphans officially deprived of parental care.
  • A military child removed from duty due to staff reduction.
  • A child of a serviceman who died while on duty.
  • Children of holders of the Order of Glory, Heroes of the Soviet Union and Russia.

To confirm the availability of any benefit, you must provide the relevant documents.

How to enter cadet school - age

Military schools, corps and colleges accept children of all ages. In some cadet boarding schools, it is possible to instill in a child a love of the Motherland from the 1st grade and teach him drill training. But basically, recruitment is carried out in all buildings in Russia upon completion of primary school. It is advisable to enroll in cadet schools after grades 8-9, followed by transfer to a military institute.

How to enter cadet school - medical indicators

Since the Cadet Corps trains future officers, the pride and defenders of their Motherland, the health status of the applicant is first assessed. It may take more than two months to collect certificates, undergo diagnostic studies and take tests; take this factor into account so as not to be late in submitting documents. To begin with, the applicant needs to receive honey. certificate form 086-u, with conclusions:

  • Neurologist, ophthalmologist.
  • Surgeon, orthopedist.
  • Cardiologist, endocrinologist.
  • Dentist, psychiatrist, dermatologist.
  • Pediatrician, with the personal signature and seal of the head physician of the hospital.

In addition, the commission will require the results of diagnostic studies, such as:

  • Ultrasound of the thyroid gland and abdominal cavity.
  • ECG after exercise and at rest.
  • Fluorography.
  • General blood analysis.
  • Detailed analysis for RW, hepatitis and HIV.
  • Examination of scrapings for enterobiasis.

You should know that there are a certain number of diseases for which a candidate will not pass the selection, solely for health reasons - moderate and severe bronchial asthma, diabetes, stage 4 obesity, tuberculosis, mental disorders, diseases of the nervous system, various eye diseases, cirrhosis of the liver, cancer, hernia, heart and blood diseases.

How to enter a cadet school - academic performance and exams

Secondly, the admissions committee closely examines the candidate’s final report card. The future cadet must be at least a good student and have an excellent grade in physical fitness. Upon admission after 4th grade, applicants take the following exams:

  • Russian language - dictation or presentation.
  • Mathematics – written test.
  • Physical education is taken by candidates entering after 9th grade - running, pull-ups and push-ups.

A conversation with a psychologist is carried out everywhere and always; this is a mandatory part of the entrance examination. The psychologist studies the child using his tests and confidential conversation.

How to enter a cadet school - documents and time

The legislation establishes a single start and end date for the work of the admissions board in military institutions - from April 15 to June 1. You can find the most accurate information on the personal website of the selected cadet corps. The list of required documents is quite extensive; it also needs to be collected in advance:

  • A personal statement from the applicant and separate from the parents.
  • Birth certificate. For children over 14 years old, an original and a photocopy of the passport of all pages is required.
  • A report card signed by the director of the institution.
  • Medical certificate filled out according to form 086, information about prof. vaccinations in form N 63, an extract from a personal card, a certificate from a phthisiatrician, a copy and original of a medical policy.
  • Originals and photocopies of passports of parents or guardians.
  • If the father and mother are officially employed, a certificate from the place of work will be required; for those who are unemployed, a copy of the work record book will be required.

The commission also identifies applicants who have copies of diplomas, certificates, certificates and awards received as a result of educational activities.

As you can see, having the proud title of Cadet is not at all difficult! Already at the preparatory stage, the future defender of his country realizes the seriousness and importance of training in the Cadet Corps!

Raising a man and a true protector begins at an early age. Your entire future life depends on what is built into your character in childhood. It seems to many that it is too early to think about the future in the 4th year of study, especially if you take into account the advice of your neighbors, but this is not so. After cadet institutions, military training, endurance of the body and self-confidence appear - qualities that define a strong person.

In addition, the cadet school provides enormous prospects for career growth, climbing the career ladder, which everyone strives for, and in the future - benefits and pensions. It is believed that military men are successful and wealthy people. After graduating from college, the child will receive a ticket to a bright future. If you enroll after the 4th grade, the exam procedure will be easier, and the cadets will have time to get used to the new environment.

A military career is a real challenge, but it provides many advantages, which is why entering a cadet school has always been considered quite prestigious. On the one hand, this is the path of a firm and self-confident person who will always be provided with a good salary and bonuses, on the other hand, from a young age, children are taught order, discipline and bearing. Not everyone can do this.

Therefore, before proceeding, you need to take into account all the circumstances. But many people want to make a brilliant military career, despite the difficulties. Therefore, representatives of the fairer sex often prepare for admission from the 4th grade. The difficulty is that you need to submit documents to the school while classes are still taking place. Thus, you should not delay resolving this issue, especially if you have firmly decided that your child should enter school at the end of the 4th grade.

The most important passing factor for the admissions committee is health. For a military employee cannot have a weakened body, and the training process itself will be a burden for an applicant with illnesses. When passing a medical commission, the doctor must certify compliance with the first or second health group. Children with chronic diseases or flat feet will not be able to receive education in such educational institutions. From the 4th grade you can already move on to vocational training, because it is at this age that a personality begins to form, and it is easiest for a child to instill discipline and punctuality. In addition, only specialized subjects that will be useful in practice, life and service will be taught here.

Who gets the preferential quota?

Since the competition for military institutions is very large, an applicant can take advantage of preferential benefits that exist primarily for:

  • orphans who were raised without both parents or without the participation of one;
  • children whose parents visited hot spots or war zones;
  • children whose parents are disabled in armed conflicts.

Children of combatants and liquidators of the Chernobyl accident are given preferential priority in the competition. The Cadet School is considered a very prestigious educational institution, so there is always high competition for places.

The procedure for starting admission to cadets involves taking into account first of all:

  1. Psychological attitude towards serious service and loyalty to one’s work. Studying at a prestigious institution is a state program and full support, which, for all its benefits, has a number of restrictions and rules. The child must realize that he will constantly be under control, fulfill obligations and tasks assigned to him, and also diligently pass tests, otherwise he will be expelled and the years spent at the cadet school will be in vain. After the 4th year at the desk, you can already see whether the child is ready to experience such difficulties and whether he will not be drawn home every day. In addition, meetings with loved ones and visits throughout the entire period occur only on weekends.
  2. Mutual consent on all sides. Separate parental consent is also required, so the list of documents must include the passport of both the father and mother or guardians, which confirms that the child is entering a public school with their consent. Making such a decision is easier for those families whose members are in military service and know its nuances.
  3. Choosing a school. As a rule, the place of residence itself determines the choice. You need to submit documents to the nearest school to your place of residence. This is done for the purpose of simplifying documentation and forming the composition of future cadets. But also, the closer you are to home, the easier it is to see your family. Extra convenience doesn't hurt anyone.
  4. Direct collection of documents. They must be submitted between April 15 and May 15, then it is not possible to enter the stream. The list of required copies for applicants after 4 years of study is posted on the websites of all government institutions, so there will definitely not be any difficulties with this. You can also choose online a conveniently located building where your child would like to go. It is important not to miss the moment of submitting applications, because from June 1 it is no longer possible. Also, you should not delay preparing copies until the last minute, since no one will violate the accepted order for the sake of one person. In addition, during admission you need to prepare for subsequent exams. A student after 4 years of school should be helped with this, since children during this period are still very distracted and not independent.

Procedure for submitting an application and preparing a package of documents

To avoid searching for documents at the last moment, you should prepare to submit your application in advance. The admission procedure usually looks like this:

  • First, parents must make a statement about their child’s desire to enroll in the chosen school. The application is written addressed to the boss;
  • an application is also submitted on behalf of the applicant himself;
  • after this, you need to compile an autobiography, in which it is desirable to fully reveal the child’s talents and abilities without any embellishment;
  • submission of copies of the parents’ passport and the child’s birth certificate, which must be certified by a notary;
  • certificate of successful completion of 4th grade (for the last three quarters);
  • drawing up characteristics from teachers;
  • obtaining a medical certificate from the military medical commission;
  • mandatory medical insurance;
  • transfer of information about the child’s registration and family composition, which can be obtained from local authorities;
  • photocopies of the passports of each parent, which are certified by a notary.
  • and, most importantly, submit 4 photographs measuring 3 × 4;
  • a certificate is submitted informing which of the parents and guardians is working.

After this comes the selection stage of applicants. There are no special requirements for primary school students, but it is important to have good health and good academic performance. Preference is given to preferential categories. After completing the stage of submitting documentation to the school, the period of entrance exams begins, of which there are usually two.

Their preparation must be taken seriously, since the competition for admission to the cadet school is very serious even for a younger age. At the same time, it is better to do this at this time, since at an older age there are much more evaluation criteria. If the applicant is doing well with his grades and medical report, with the onset of June he will definitely be notified of admission to take the exams.

From the moment of successful admission, the child is provided with state benefits, so many parents send their children to study without hesitation. For this, the cadet must comply with the rules of conduct and correspond to the high rank of cadet. Nowadays, the defenders of the homeland need a special approach, since peace in the country in the future will be completely in their hands.

Cadets are a very bright and busy time. The guys cope with their tasks very well, learn order and mutual assistance. All that education in a prestigious cadet corps can give them is honor, dignity and responsibility. Even the army does not provide such education. After graduating from cadet school, you can either continue to follow the path of a military career or choose something that is more to the liking of your grown-up child.

There is a special offer on our website: you can consult our corporate lawyer completely free of charge. All you need to do is leave your question in the form below.

According to the educational portal VSEOBUCH, cadet schools are in great demand. The competition is on par with the country's leading universities; up to 30 people apply for one place. At the same time, the indicators of educational effectiveness in cadet schools are much higher than the same indicators in a comprehensive school.

According to calculations of the FSKK im. Alexei Yordan, more than 90% of cadet graduates enter higher educational institutions successfully, and only half of them go to military institutes. In cadet schools you can often meet children of successful and famous parents.

Why is enrolling in a cadet school so attractive, and what does it promise for the child in the future? Let's consider all the advantages and disadvantages of studying in such an institution.

Advantages of cadet schools

Cadet schools are boarding schools, so the child is there all the time from Monday to Friday. He is only at home on weekends and holidays.

To enroll in school, not only the desire of the parents is necessary, but also the desire of the child. Although, show me a boy of 7-10 years old who would not want to wear a military uniform, learn to shoot and march?

The first time is difficult, especially for those who are not used to being separated from their parents for a long time. However, the school always has a specialized psychologist who will help the child cope with the adaptation period. And besides, there’s no time to cry here, just like there’s no time to play on a tablet or watch TV. In the morning, drill training, then classes, in the afternoon some free time, and then doing homework with the teacher. If the homework is completed quickly, then there is time for additional classes. There are a whole lot of them here: from the shooting section, basketball and strength gymnastics to drumming. In general, this is what, in our understanding, an “ordinary” boy should do. In addition, cadets often go on excursions and attend parades of military bands.

Many people compare a cadet school to an orphanage. It's not like that at all. Children can communicate with their parents by telephone, which is issued at a certain time in the evening for several hours. As a rule, the conversation is limited to the banal “Mom, I’m fine. I ran to fight." The guys have such a busy life that they are constantly busy.

Strict discipline reigns in the cadet school. Punishments vary: as parents write on forums, ranging from hundreds of push-ups to home detention.

Surprisingly, there are no fights in the cadet school. This is prohibited in the code of honor.

If a child becomes ill, staff keep parents informed of what is happening. In general, the cadet school employs very caring people who successfully cope with the task of raising a boy to be a real man: educated, noble and well physically trained.

Who benefits from admission to cadet school?

Each region establishes its own preferential categories for applicants to cadet schools.

In the capital, for example, according to Appendix 1 to the order of the Moscow Committee of Education dated 04/09/02 No. 242 regarding the rules for admitting citizens to cadet schools, clause 1.5. Preferential rights to enter a cadet school (cadet boarding school) are enjoyed by:

  • children of military personnel who died in the line of duty;
  • children of military personnel serving in military conflict zones;
  • orphans;
  • children left without parental care;
  • children from large and low-income families;
  • children of single mothers (fathers);
  • children under guardianship (trusteeship).

Entrance exams

According to clause 1.4. of the same application, “Examinations and testing are not carried out with candidates for admission to a cadet school (cadet boarding school).” However, in reality there is a strict selection.

Those entering the fifth grade will have to pass physical training, tests for knowledge of mathematics and the Russian language, and of course, at the same time have excellent health. Often they also ask for a reference from your previous place of study.

It is clear that for those entering the first grade, only a medical certificate from doctors that the child is healthy is sufficient, but at the same time the child has the right to be denied admission to school. Parents can challenge this decision within a certain period of time.

Modern schoolchildren begin to think about their future profession early. Some people immediately decide to finish 11th grade, take the Unified State Exam and try to enter a university. But you can choose educational institutions after the 9th grade that provide cadet schools.

Military service is gradually becoming more and more popular. Many, while still schoolchildren, choose service for the benefit of the Motherland as their future profession. And if there are several hereditary military men in the family, then sometimes the question of “who to be” is not worth it.

Such a desire to connect one’s life with service is the basis for enrolling in cadet schools after 9th grade. Both boys and girls can apply for enrollment. But only the best and most distinguished will be accepted.

Conditions for admission to cadet school

  1. Boys and girls with Russian citizenship have the right to submit documents for admission.
  2. Cadet corps accepts schoolchildren who, on September 1 of the year of admission, have not yet turned 17 and are at least 15 years old.
  3. Those wishing to study in the cadet corps must successfully complete 9 classes and pass the GIA.
  4. The candidate is checked and undergoes a medical examination.
  5. A parental application is required for the child's admission.
  6. Parents' consent to the cadet's further education at a military institution.

The necessary conditions

When choosing cadet schools after 9th grade, the main thing is not to succumb to the opinions of others and not to enroll for the sake of a beautiful uniform, prestige or for company.

Military affairs should be a calling, you will need to devote your whole life to it. Therefore, it should be clearly understood that a cadet is not just a military student, he is a future defender and pride of his homeland.

Parents should have a very serious conversation with their child and make it clear that joining the cadets is a serious step, and life will change dramatically from that moment on.

And yet, if the wishes of the child and parents coincide, the future path and profession are determined, not everyone who wants to will be able to become young soldiers. For this you need:

  • Personal autobiography with the successes and achievements of the student.
  • Characteristics from the school, which are drawn up by teachers and signed by the director.
  • A certificate from parents indicating the nature and description of the position will be required.
  • Excellent basic knowledge in all subjects and successful passing of the State Examination.
  • Good physical fitness.
  • Good health, confirmed by a certificate from the clinic.

Life at the cadet school

Cadet schools in Russia are being revived and becoming very popular. The state understands the importance of primary education in the formation and development of military personnel.

A single line, starting from school, helps to form a successful and strong personality, forms the image of a military man and conveys all the accumulated advanced experience.

Those who choose cadet schools after 9th grade will find themselves surrounded by the same children from all over Russia.

As a rule, there are many students here from hereditary military families and those whose parents serve in security agencies, the police, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and others.

Tolerance is one of the conditions for successful life in the corps. After all, among the students there are children of different social classes and different statuses. But the military cadet school is a model for building attitude and discipline. Differences in social status are unacceptable there. The main thing is success in learning and cultivating valor, tolerance and a culture of communication.

Students are in the educational institution around the clock, and they are fully supported by the state. Food, accommodation, uniforms, training materials - all this is provided to cadets free of charge.

You can only come home during the holidays. The rest of the time, students study and live in buildings.

Suvorov School - what is it?

The Suvorov Cadet School is an institution for school-age students, where they receive a complete secondary education; in addition, they are taught the basics of military affairs, and preparation is underway for entering military universities.

These schools are named after the legendary commander Suvorov. They were first formed during the Second World War. The graduates are called Suvorovites.

They do not enter after 9th or 11th grade. Very young children, eight years old, are also accepted there.

In practice, it so happens that children from military families enter the SVU. And their life is moving, changing housing, constantly different schools. Due to the different curriculum, the level of knowledge of children is different.

But teachers are aware of this situation, so studies begin with catching up on lagging subjects, and then move on to an in-depth study of military disciplines.

Life is close to army conditions. Accordingly, the discipline is strict.

Physicists or lyricists

SVU does not mean that children will study only exact sciences and everything related to military service.

If a student clearly has talent in the humanities, experienced teachers will not hush this up. Such a student will be told where it is better for him to apply his knowledge and where to direct his talent.

After all, there are a lot of profiles in military affairs. Thus, humanists can go towards military law. In addition, people with knowledge of a foreign language are highly valued in the Russian Armed Forces.

Obvious “techies” will be able to direct their steps towards studying military equipment and weapons. Suvorov schools are very good because a very young child, whom his parents sent to military affairs, can find his calling in this field. There are many, you just have to choose.

Particularly distinguished students receive not only moral satisfaction. Excellent academic performance is also rewarded financially. All SVU students receive a scholarship, but those who excel can count on a personal scholarship issued by the Ministry of Defense.

You should not think that if a child fails in something, he will be immediately expelled. Of course, if this happens systematically, then this may well happen. But if a student tries, they will always help him. Schedules must include hours for individual lessons.

SVU. What's next?

When a student chooses educational institutions after 9th grade, he thinks about his future profession, what he will become after graduation. What will graduates of the Suvorov Schools face, who will they be and where will they have to work?

While studying at SVU, the guys receive certain titles. Everything is like in a real army. Whatever rank a cadet can reach, he graduates with that rank.

Do not forget that IEDs are not only military training. First of all, this is excellent basic knowledge with which you can enter any higher military institution. But you can also choose a civilian university. The knowledge acquired at SVU helps their students outperform their competitors from regular schools and show excellent results in exams.

Any military personnel is happy to hire former Suvorovites. In addition, all children who showed special signs are already on special register and are eagerly awaited at the university.

And it doesn’t matter whether a child becomes a cadet in the 5th grade or chooses cadet schools after the 9th grade, his future will most likely be inextricably linked with the army, service and defense of the Motherland.

Knowledge, bearing, discipline - all this remains forever in the former cadet. And wherever life takes him, he is ready for challenges.
