Throughout the previous narrative we have proceeded from the assumption that the Flood was universal. This opinion was generally accepted until the 20th century. The Greatest Interpreter Priest Scriptures St. John Chrysostom , for example, says that “Our Lord, having cleansed the WHOLE UNIVERSE with this flood, and, so to speak, freed it from human wickedness, the filth of extreme corruption, made it most beautiful and again showed us its bright face, not allowing even a trace of the former ugliness to remain. “The water rose fifteen cubits above the mountains.” It is not without reason that Scripture tells us about this, but so that we know that not only people, and cattle, and four-footed animals, and creeping things, were drowned, but also the birds of the air, and all the beasts and other dumb animals that lived on the mountains. 9. p.251).

However, nowadays, among many theologians, the opinion has spread that the flood did not affect the entire landmass. There are two points of view on the area of land flooded. The most radical of them belongs, of course, to Rev. Alexandru Menu. In his opinion, “there is no doubt that the model for the legend of the Yagvist (one of the mythical five “authors” of the Pentateuch - D.D.) was the Sumerian-Babylonian legend” (16. p. 300). He says that the source of this legend is the gigantic flood of the Euphrates known as the "Wulley Flood." “Was the flood global?- Asks Archpriest. Men. — Those who look for geological facts in the Bible will be disappointed. The poetic shell of the legend obscures external details and facts. Geology does not know a global flood, but it is quite possible that the most ancient centers of civilization were subjected to disaster.”(16. p. 301). It is obvious that for this notorious archpriest the flood, even if there was one, did not even affect all the people. There is nowhere to go further along the path of destruction of Revelation!
Turning to their arguments in defense of their point of view, you are struck by its weakness. The only biblical evidence in favor of the all-human nature of the flood is the completely fair statement that sometimes by “the whole earth” only “the whole world known to the Jews” is meant ( Rom.10.18; 3 Kings 10.24; Acts 2:5; Luke 2:1), for some reason the conclusion is drawn from this that here we are talking specifically about the area known to Moses and his contemporaries. We are not told how this interpretation was obtained. But in Scripture, the expression “the whole earth” means all of humanity ( Ps.99.1), so shouldn’t we understand the whole story of the flood allegorically. - After all, water is also an image in Scripture. Holy Spirit(John 7:38-39). If we approach the Mosaic legend so unceremoniously, then we can conclude that all humanity was embraced by the grace of the Spirit, from which only Noah and those with him were saved. This is an absurd interpretation, like the interpretation used by modernists, which is equally false, because it directly contradicts the 19th rule of the Council of Trula, which prohibits understanding the Holy Scripture. Scripture is different from how the Holy Fathers understood it. If you do not follow this rule, then any sacred text can be twisted in any way, up to its complete opposite to its own meaning. -If only there was enough desire and imagination! This is exactly how all heresies arise that claim that the Bible can be understood on its own. We have already seen the patristic opinion that the waters of the flood covered the entire land; let us consider this biblical narrative in more detail and find out which opinion explains it more naturally - patristic or modernist?
Before we begin to analyze all the biblical stories about the flood (and they are not only in the book of Genesis), it is necessary to first note that in Revelation the expression “all the earth” is used in the proper sense ( Rev.5,6;13,12; Isa.54.5; Micah 4,13; Zechariah 4:14). So we must choose from different meanings the one that does not contradict the entire integrity of Revelation. If an unbiased person reads the biblical narrative, he will naturally get the impression that the flood was of a planetary nature. Our reader will come across no less than thirty evidence of the global nature of the catastrophe. He learns that God has decided to “destroy everything that exists from the face of the earth” ( Gen.7,4) The Lord said that everything that is under heaven on earth will lose life (cf. Gen.6,17) and so it happened ( Gen.7:21-23) - “Only Noah remained, and what was with him in the ark.” The water was so high that it covered 15 cubits “all the high mountains that are under the sky” ( Gen.7:19-20), and not on the land familiar to the Jews. This disaster lasted a year, which never happens with small floods. Of course, our hypothetical reader, not burdened by evolutionary tales, would come to the conclusion that we are talking about a global flood. This conviction would only be strengthened if he remembered that humanity most likely inhabited all the land at that time, for people then were distinguished by longevity and fertility, and even in the beginning God commanded them to fill the entire earth ( Gen.1.28), and in order to destroy it, therefore, a worldwide flood was required.

This belief would develop into certainty if he looked at what other biblical books said about the flood. The most powerful evidence in favor of the traditional understanding of the nature of this catastrophe is the words The Lord Jesus Christ Himself: “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of Man: they ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all... So it will be in that day, when the Son of Man appears" (Luke 17:26-27:30). If no one can escape from the worldwide fire on the day of the end of time, then no one could escape outside Noah’s Ark on the day of the destruction of the first world. His supreme disciple also echoes his Teacher. He testifies that God “did not spare the first world, but preserved the family of Noah in eight souls when he brought a flood upon the world (“cosmos”) of the wicked”( 2 Peter 2:5) These words cannot be attributed only to the Euphrates Valley or to inhabited land, which cannot be called space. Obviously, this catastrophe affected not only the Earth, but also the celestial spheres. The atmosphere changed and, perhaps, it was at this time that a flood occurred on Mars. After all, according to the words of Scripture, “the windows of heaven were opened” and the water that was above the firmament poured onto our planet. The traditional interpretation is further strengthened by other words of ap. Petra: “In the beginning, by the word of God, the heavens and the earth were made of water and by water: therefore the world at that time perished, being drowned by water. But the present heavens and earth, which are contained by the same Word, are reserved for fire against the day of judgment and destruction of wicked men.” (2 Peter 3:5-7). So, if you believe Revelation, there can be no doubt that the waters of the flood covered all the land and no one could be saved except those who were in the ark. In the same way, no one will escape the final fiery cataclysm except those who, through Baptism enters the new ark Ecumenical Orthodox Church and (cf. 1 Peter 3:21). It seems that it is in this biblical comparison of the end of the world and the flood that one of the secret springs forcing us to reject the universality of the flood lies (Although, of course, the main reason for creating this hypothesis is the desire to adapt to the spirit of the times). After all, if it was possible to escape from the flood without the ark (for example, by escaping to an unflooded place), then with our information systems and technical capabilities there is no need for us to live in the Church. We will already know in advance about some particular cataclysm and will be saved either under water or on a spaceship. But it won't work. — “Though they bury themselves in Sheol, yet from there My hand will take them; even if they ascend into heaven, and from there I will overthrow them... Even if they hide from Mine eyes at the bottom of the sea, and there I will command the sea serpent to bite them.”(Amos.9,2-3) — The Lord speaks.

We can also touch on a number of other reasons why the opinion of the modernists is completely incredible. Firstly, God promised not to send flood waters to the earth again ( Gen.9,15) and the prophet Isaiah speaks from the Face of the Lord: “This is for Me like the waters of Noah: just as I swore that the people of Noah would come no more to the earth, so I swore not to be angry with you and not to rebuke you.” (Isa.54.9). -We are talking here about the New Israel, born as a result of the atoning sacrifice of the Child Yahweh. If the waters of Noah covered only part of the land, then with each local flood God turns out to be a liar and then His attitude towards the Orthodox Church is completely unpredictable. Of course, to think about the Lord in this way means to completely place oneself outside the boundaries of salvation and to renounce any relationship to Revelation. Secondly, the very construction of the giant ark is absolutely meaningless. After all, in a hundred years, Noah and his family could migrate to any corner of our planet. And the ark itself of such dimensions is necessary only for a worldwide, and not for an all-human flood. -Any animals and birds could, like Noah, go to any flood-free place. And if suddenly the Lord, on some whim, wanted Noah to be saved on the ship, then it was quite possible to make it tens of times smaller than the one described in the book of Genesis. Moreover, it was said that the ark was created for "to preserve the tribe for the whole earth" (Gen.7.3).
CONCLUSION Our journeys have come to an end and we leave the holiest pages of the book of Genesis. We have passed through the fire of evolutionism and the waters of modernist pseudo-theology, but we were led by the One who was the Fourth in the furnace of Babylon. We contemplated the glory of the incorruptible world, which emerged incorruptible from the hands of God, and the abyss into which the fall of the primordial people cast it. We also saw the flourishing of the magical civilization of the apostates, the revival of which we are witnessing, and we saw how Merciful Justice cleansed the universe with the first baptism of the flood. Part One or how it will be

In the process of a planetary catastrophe, the axis of rotation will move along the trough of the Atlantic Ocean to the north at a speed of 1 m/sec, and inertial forces will move the waters of the Atlantic in the form of a mega-tsunami, the height of a 100-story building - into the Arctic Ocean, Europe, Asia and to the Pacific Ocean - through the Bering Strait and the Isthmus of Panama (see Fig. 2).

The width of the Atlantic Ocean is about 6000 km, and the Bering Strait is 35 km, so the waters of the Atlantic will very quickly overflow the Arctic Ocean basin, and it will begin to flow into the Pacific Ocean through the Bering Strait, as well as flood the low-lying areas of Europe, Asia and North America with these mega-tsunamis .
Russia
Having burst into the Arctic Ocean and, deviating to the east due to the rotation of the Earth, the waters of the Atlantic and Arctic will first rush to the low lands of Western Siberia, the Turgai depression and Kazakhstan, reach the Aral Sea and overflow the Caspian Sea, which is why along the Kuma-Manych ravine the waters of the Atlantic and Arctic will begin to flow into the Azov Sea, and therefore into the Black Sea.
As a result of such a Great Flood, the Crimean peninsula will become an island, as well as the Donetsk Ridge in Donbass, in eastern Ukraine.

Europe
In the very first days of the general lithospheric catastrophe, i.e. global Shift/change of the planet's poles by 90 degrees, Europe will face very unpleasant events, since the inertial tsunami waves of the Atlantic will burst not only into Denmark, Holland, the Baltic Sea, but also into the Mediterranean Sea, and the water level in it, within 2- x years after the Pole Shift and the melting of the Arctic, Antarctic and Greenland glaciers that will be at the new equator of the planet will also rise by 200 meters.
It is not surprising that even for such an inland country, Hungary, the Atlantic mega-tsunami will be a complete disaster, since more than 2/3 of Hungary will become an inland sea like the Aral Sea in Central Asia yesterday.
Also, the catastrophe of a new flood of the Earth will cause massive explosions of all active and dormant volcanoes on the planet, causing some European countries to be literally covered with volcanic ash - Greece, the countries of the former Yugoslavia, Alaska, etc.

A mega-tsunami in the Mediterranean, North and Baltic Seas will destroy and drown absolutely all ports and coastal cities, including non-coastal Rome among its victims, as well as all countries and territories of Northern continental Europe - from Holland, England, Denmark and the entire Baltic states to the mountains of the Urals, which will become an island. (See Figure 1 above).
Global flood
A sharp rise in water levels in the Northern Hemisphere due to a mega-tsunami at the time of the pole shift, as well as during the stabilization of the planet in a new position, when for Europe the West will become North, and the North will become East and the rest of Europe, or rather, a group of its islands, will be in the new Southern Hemisphere of the Earth, and for North America - the West will become the South, and the North will become the West, then America, unlike Europe, will only turn West to the South, the new equator of the planet, i.e. will remain in the new Northern Hemisphere of the Earth, and its eastern high States will become a peninsula, (see Fig. 1 above), will continue until water begins to be forced to overflow from the Atlantic:
- to the Pacific Ocean via the Isthmus of Panama;
- to the Mediterranean Sea through Gibraltar and Southern France along the canal connecting the Garonne with the Mediterranean Sea;
- from the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea via the Suez Canal;
- through Israel - to the Gulf of Aqaba;
- along the Turkish province of Antalya - to the Persian Gulf;
- and through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles - to the Black Sea.
After the primary stabilization of the planet from the pole shift and tsunami impacts, there will be a period of secondary stabilization and a process of slow rise in water levels on all continents, when “the rivers flow back”, will last about 2 years, since this is approximately the time the planet requires in its new position, so that its glaciers in the Arctic, Antarctica and Greenland melt (see Fig. 1 above).
Spain, like Germany-Switzerland-Austria, will become islands (see Fig. 1 above);

In Russia, the entire East European Plain and Western Siberia will be flooded with water up to the Ural Island.

The ancient path of the flood waters of the Atlantic Ocean from the Mediterranean Sea even to the Indian Ocean is marked on the planet by a whole chain of still existing and already dry salt lakes of the Earth. In Israel it is the Dead Sea; in Antalya there are a number of dried up and even high-mountain salt lakes with extremely high salt concentrations.
In the next fig. 6 below, the author shows a projection of the new “Earth globe” and in red shows the main geological ruptures in the crust of the continents in North America, Asia, Africa and South America, including in blue – lands and countries such as India, disappearing in the depths of new seas-oceans, 2 /3 Australia, Panama and the Caribbean. All the islands of today's Polynesia, whose height above ocean level is minimal today, will also disappear. But in the South Atlantic, a new continent-island will appear (see New Island below in Fig. 5 and New Land in Fig. 1 above).

On a conscious level, they are not completely ignorant of why they are making the movements they are doing, but everything is happening at the level of the subconscious and intuition. All sorts of pretexts are created, people get to know each other and move around, change their occupation, and eventually find themselves in an area where people get along better with their neighbors and, with the help of their special skills, successfully create their own network of acquaintances and like-minded people. This will happen more and more as time advances, and even later, when the survivors migrate, following their instincts more than anything else, and increasingly finding each other, the one who is needed….
